During a media briefing in Uyo, held in conjunction with the 37th anniversary celebration of Akwa Ibom State, Eno urged the public to distinguish between party politics and governance. He emphasized his respect for Akpabio as Senate President and highlighted their collaboration aimed at attracting development to the state.

Eno stated that having Akpabio as the number three citizen of Nigeria is advantageous for Akwa Ibom, noting that the relationship fosters peace and stability. “I am a PDP member and am committed to supporting the party. It’s important to separate party matters from governance issues,” he said.

He further assured party supporters that he is actively campaigning for the PDP and is confident of their success in the upcoming elections. Addressing criticisms regarding his demeanor, Eno insisted, “There is no ambiguity in my stance. I am firmly working for the PDP, demonstrating our trustworthiness through ongoing development projects across all local governments in the state.”

The governor encouraged voters to assess the achievements made under his administration and make informed decisions based on their observations.
