During the swearing-in ceremony at the Banquet Hall of Government House in Uyo, Eno reiterated that no arm of government can function effectively in isolation and urged the council executives to prioritize synergy.

He said, “While you now have autonomy in financial matters, meaning you will receive your funds directly, we must remember that we have shared responsibilities. “There is no true autonomy in governance. We are all part of a collective system that must ensure our people receive the services they need. Autonomy does not mean operating as separate entities from the state government. Speaking to the only opposition party chairman present, Eno stressed the importance of unity in governance, saying, “Your election and today’s swearing-in show that the process was fair.
