Anyanwu pointed out that Governor Uzodimma appears disoriented and confused, resorting to chasing shadows because the people of Imo State have unanimously rejected him and his administration. He emphasized that attempting to win people’s support through threats is ineffective.

Ikenna further noted that within Imo State, no community, local government area, or region takes the APC-led government seriously.

He highlighted that as the rejection of Uzodimma’s leadership intensifies, the governor has resorted to intimidation and the unlawful detention of innocent individuals.

He also mentioned a recent incident where traditional leaders from Orlu zone, who are reportedly under trial, were allegedly influenced by Uzodimma to perform a ritual against any Orlu resident who votes against the APC administration in the state.

Ikenna described this as a display of crude immorality, especially in the wake of the mourning, anguish, and regrets experienced by Orlu residents due to the loss of their loved ones and the destruction of their properties in incidents believed to involve government agents.
