During a statewide address on Tuesday, the governor expressed concern over the extensive neglect impacting all educational levels, from primary to tertiary institutions.
He emphasized that this declaration aligns with his pre-election commitments to the people, aiming to revitalize the education sector that has suffered significant setbacks.
Governor Lawal affirmed his government’s dedication to implementing policies for educational reform, focusing on infrastructure development, school rehabilitation, provision of essential facilities, and staff training.
The administration has initiated the construction and refurbishment of 245 schools across all local government areas, distributed 9,542 two-seater desks, and equipped the renovated schools with 619 tables and 926 chairs for teachers.
