He emphasized his satisfaction with the APC-led government’s commitment to delivering good governance and the benefits of democracy to the people of Edo State and Nigeria at large. Okpebholo highlighted that the road had been in a deplorable condition for years, causing significant disruptions and productivity losses. However, he noted that the President had made good on his promise to repair the road.

“I am very honored and happy to see the work going on,” Okpebholo said. “This is a clear indication of a leader who is working for his country. The President promised to fix this road, which had been abandoned for so long, and today the people of Esan and Edo State are thrilled with this development. The road is now passable.”

The Governor continued, expressing his gratitude to President Tinubu for prioritizing the project, which had long been neglected. He pledged to continue monitoring the progress of the roadworks and assured that the President would be updated on the status of the project.

“I had the opportunity to speak with the President about this road, and I told him the project is ongoing,” Okpebholo said. “The people of Edo are truly happy with this development, and we are grateful for the President’s intervention.”
