Governor Okpebholo Swears In New Edo Commissioners, Unveils Portfolios [Full List Inside]

This was revealed in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Umar Musa Ikhilor, which directed all Commissioners to assume duties in their respective ministries immediately.

The statement read:
“It is hereby announced for the information of the general public that the Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has sworn in six (6) Commissioners into the State Executive Council.”

The newly sworn-in Commissioners and their assigned portfolios are as follows:

1. Hon. Paul Nosayaba Ohonbamu – Ministry of Information and Communications
2. Hon. Dr. Washington Osa Osifo – Ministry of Water Resources and Energy
3. Dr. Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu – Ministry of Education
4. Sir (Dr.) Lucky Eseigbe – Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs
5. Mr. Andrew Ijegbai – Ministry of Mining
6. Barr. Marie Olabisi Idaomi – Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development
