The students, from Tansi International College near Awka, were engaged in football training in preparation for a friendly match with another school when the lightning struck during a rainfall.
Soludo conveyed his condolences through his Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Aburime, stating, “The governor offers his deepest sympathies to the Tansi International College community, the grieving students, and the families who have tragically lost their three beloved children.”
