The intensity of his wailing caused him severe headaches, leading him to reevaluate his approach and tone down his crying.

However, GWR quickly clarified that they never approved such a record attempt, emphasizing that they do not monitor or endorse records related to crying marathons.

They highlighted the types of records their team can indeed verify and recognize.

In a separate event, back in May, Nigerian chef Hilda Baci gained fame for achieving a new Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon (cook-a-thon) by an individual.

Hailing from Akwa-Ibom, she cooked for an impressive 100 hours, surpassing the previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes set by Indian chef Lata Tondon in 2019.

In June, Hilda received certification from the British reference book, securing a time of 93 hours and 11 minutes for her remarkable feat.
