Gunmen k!ll 5 Worshippers Inside Mosque In Nasarawa

Yakubu reported that soldiers responded to the attack, engaging and killing several of the gunmen. The attackers had left their motorcycles in a nearby bush and walked into the community. The victims were displaced individuals from neighboring areas affected by previous violence.
Toto LGA Chairman Alhaji Abdullahi Aliyu Tashas confirmed the attack.
In a related incident, gunmen believed to be bandits killed a member of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN), Aminu Adamu, on Thursday, July 25. Adamu was shot at his duty post along the Toto-Abaji road. Youth leader Dubagari reported that another person was injured in the attack and has been hospitalized for treatment.
