Sirika was reacting to statements made by Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, during an interview on Arise TV, as well as a report quoting presidential aide Bayo Onanuga.
In his post, Sirika wrote:
“I watched His Excellency Nyesom Wike today on Arise TV claiming that I have joined the so-called coalition. Still in disbelief, I later read a report on Premium Times quoting Chief Bayo Onanuga making the same allegation.”
He continued, “I am a founding member of the APC. I gave the party its name. I have no plans to leave. I will always stand with President Buhari. If you must hate him, then hate me as well. I owe no one an apology.”
Sirika also criticized both Wike and Onanuga for failing to verify their claims before going public.
