The heartbreaking loss has left CP Disu and his family in deep mourning, overshadowing his recent appointment as the head of the FCT Police Command.
The deceased, Adam Kaka Disu, a recent graduate, had just completed his one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program at the Ministry of Tourism in Abuja.
News of the young man’s untimely demise has prompted an outpouring of condolences from colleagues, friends, and members of the public, who have expressed their sympathies and offered prayers for the family during this challenging time.
In a poignant twist, CP Disu had earlier on Monday visited CSP A.A. Sambo, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ushafa Division, to console him over the loss of his own son.
CP Disu assumed duty as the 32nd Commissioner of Police for the FCT Police Command in October, succeeding AIG Benneth Igweh, who was promoted to Assistant Inspector General of Police and transferred to Zone 7 Headquarters.
