Heartbreaking Plea: Mother Appeals For Son’s Burial In Rivers State After Tragic Demise Alongside Jnr Pope

The mother of Precious, a sound engineer who tragically perished alongside Jnr Pope in a boat accident in Anambra state on April 10, has reached out for support from Rivers state governor, Sim Fubara.

In a poignant video circulated on social media, the grieving mother pleaded with the governor to assist in repatriating her son’s remains to Rivers state for a dignified burial.

This plea comes after Akwa Ibom state governor, Eno Umo, recently facilitated the relocation of Abigail Frederick, a makeup artist who also lost her life in the same boat accident. Abigail was exhumed from her makeshift grave by the riverbank and laid to rest in her father’s compound on Monday, April 15.

“I implore you, Governor of Rivers state, to intervene and help me. I have been unwell, relying on my deceased son to cover my medical expenses. Please, consider visiting our family so we can devise a plan to bring my son’s body home. His landlady in Asaba claims his spirit is troubling her. I beg for your assistance. If I cannot lay eyes on my son’s body, I fear I may not survive,” expressed the grief-stricken mother.
