Speculation about a possible reconciliation between the former couple gained traction last week after an old clip of them enjoying themselves at a nightclub resurfaced on social media.

The video sparked widespread rumours that the pair had rekindled their relationship, with some social media users even claiming they were expecting a third child together.

Annie was the first to dismiss the reports, taking to her Instagram Story to clarify that the circulating footage was outdated and that the claims surrounding it were false.

She wrote, “Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere.”

She added, “Believe everything u see on social media at ur expense.”

Adding his voice to the speculation, 2Face also took to his Instagram Story, where he confirmed that the trending clip was not recent.

He wrote, “Abeg nah old video o.”

Brymo Speaks On Past Relationships

Meanwhile, Nigerian singer Olawale Ashimi, popularly known as Brymo, has opened up about his past relationships, revealing that he dated some married women during the early years of his music career.

Speaking on the NotJustOk Podcast on YouTube, Brymo said his growing fame attracted attention from several older women, some of whom were married.

According to him, many of the women claimed they were no longer with their husbands before entering relationships with him.

The singer said the experiences taught him valuable lessons and prompted him to advise younger artistes to avoid romantic relationships with married women because of the potential consequences.

Brymo also recalled an incident involving a married woman who invited him to perform at her sister’s wedding before asking him to visit her family home. He said he declined after learning that her husband would be present, fearing the situation could create unnecessary trouble.

The singer further alleged that in 2019, music star 2Baba confronted his then-wife, Annie Idibia, at an office in Lekki, Lagos, over whether she had ever been romantically involved with him.
