Despite these difficulties, Iyabo Ojo emphasized the importance of personal responsibility in rebuilding the country. She argued that change starts with individuals, rather than relying solely on the government. She encouraged Nigerians to focus on positive actions within their homes and communities, setting good examples for future generations and fostering a culture of responsibility.

She wrote: “Today, October 1st, as we celebrate Nigeria’s Independence Day, I want to express my gratitude to everyone who supported me during my production. It’s a wrap, and I’m thankful. But I also recognize the challenges Nigeria faces. We’re experiencing tough times, hardship, and poor governance, but repairing our country starts with each of us.

“We can’t depend solely on the government. We’ve built our names, wealth, and livelihoods here, and we can’t abandon the country. We must work together to rebuild.

“Charity begins at home. Let’s teach our children the right values, lead by example, be our brother’s keeper, and promote integrity. By doing the right things in our homes and communities, we can create a better nation.

“Let’s reject corruption, self-entitlement, and negativity. Let’s raise responsible citizens and work towards a brighter future. Nigeria is our home; no other land can replace it. Let’s embrace, celebrate, and improve it together.
