A tragic incident unfolded in Nekede, Owerri West Local Government Area, Imo State, as a husband reportedly stabbed his wife to death after allegedly catching her with another man in their matrimonial home.
According to reports, the husband was alerted by a neighbor on April 10th about his wife’s extramarital affair, leading him to rush home and confront the situation. Upon discovering his wife with her lover in their bedroom, the husband, fueled by rage, attacked her with a knife, leaving her severely injured. Shockingly, the lover was allowed to leave unharmed while the wife succumbed to her injuries. The six-year-old daughter of the couple was left alone in the living room during the horrifying ordeal. The Imo State Police Command spokesperson, Henry Okoye, confirmed the incident and appealed to the public, especially residents of Nekede, to provide any relevant information.
