Previously, Bushradiogist reported that the former football administrator expressed his disappointment during the 19th edition of ‘Warri Again’ after Davido failed to make an appearance. Pinnick went on to emphasize that Davido isn’t the biggest artist in Nigeria, pointing out Burna Boy’s ties to the Itsekiri community and suggesting he holds more weight in the music industry. He remarked, “Is Burna Boy not the biggest artiste in Nigeria today? Burna Boy’s paternal grandmother is Itsekiri. So, he’s bigger than him (Davido).”

Reacting to these claims, Davido took to his X account, writing, “Nobody can stop me from performing anywhere in Nigeria… Warri I will see you soon.” In another tweet, seemingly referencing the controversy, he posted the logo of the NFF accompanied by the caption, “Make I no talk.” CONTINUE READING

However, Davido’s retorts didn’t stop there. On Snap Chat, he delivered a more stinging critique of the former NFF President, suggesting a possible misuse of funds: “If I am returning any money, I will return it to a football charity organization, IN FACT, I WILL DOUBLE IT… MR DREAM CRUSHER… imagine how many Nigerian footballers have had their dreams crushed because someone wants to live in Ikoyi at all costs.”

Furthermore, he added, “Warri people hate you, and you know it, Amaju. Come outside; let’s talk.”
