In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, October 5, 2024, Dokubo claimed that the helicopters, allegedly deployed by the military and police under orders from the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, circled his house and compound for about 30 minutes.
The former militant leader, visibly agitated in the video, boasted of his ability to take down the helicopters if provoked further.
Dokubo interpreted the flyover as a deliberate provocation orchestrated by Wike, with the backing of the Federal Government.
