Igboho argued that if Nigeria cannot operate effectively as a unified nation, it would be better for its various ethnic groups to peacefully separate.

He further noted that Yoruba youths, enriched by global exposure and experiences, are ready to contribute their skills toward building a prosperous and modern Yoruba nation.

“There’s no security even inside Nigerian airports. Your belongings can be stolen right out of your bag. These are some of the reasons people feel ashamed to identify as Nigerians,” Igboho said.

“This is why we advocate for separation. If Nigeria cannot function as a single entity, it’s better we go our separate ways. Our Yoruba youths, having traveled the world, have gained valuable knowledge and expertise. With these, they can return and transform Yoruba land into a modern, thriving nation, just like those in Europe.”
