I Just Received ₦20 Million Alert — Burgled Shop Owner Thanks Adeleke, Olajengbesi

A businessman whose shop in Ilesha, Osun State, was reportedly burgled days ago has expressed appreciation to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, lawyer Pelumi Olajengbesi and the Adeleke family after receiving ₦20 million in financial assistance.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the businessman had earlier raised an alarm after thieves reportedly broke into his shop and made away with several phones, laptops and other business equipment, leaving him devastated by the loss.

Following the incident, Olajengbesi reportedly contacted the businessman and informed him that assistance was being arranged to help him recover from the setback.

In a video shared online, the businessman confirmed that he had received ₦20 million and expressed gratitude to those involved in the intervention. He particularly thanked Governor Adeleke, whom he described as “the father of youths,” as well as the Adeleke family and Olajengbesi for coming to his aid.

“I just received alert of ₦20 million. I thank you very much,” the businessman said while expressing his appreciation.

The reported financial intervention comes after the businessman’s appeal for assistance attracted attention online following the burglary. He had previously spoken publicly about the impact of the incident and the loss of valuable items from his business premises.

The ₦20 million support is expected to provide some relief as he works towards rebuilding his business following the reported theft.
