I Mistakenly Saw… — X User Reveals Shocking Amount In Man’s Kuda Account

An X user has sparked reactions online after recounting how he accidentally saw a balance of ₦632,005,000 in a man’s Kuda account at a filling station.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the incident occurred when the man opened his Kuda banking application to make a transfer while attempting to pay for fuel.

The X user, identified as @abazwhyllz, said he unintentionally caught sight of the man’s account balance and was stunned to see more than ₦632 million in the account.

What further caught his attention was the man’s vehicle, which he identified as a 2012 Toyota Camry.

Reflecting on the encounter, the social media user expressed amazement at the level of wealth possessed by some Nigerians, suggesting that the experience reminded him that many people may be financially successful despite their modest appearance or lifestyle.

The post subsequently went viral on X, attracting comments from other users who shared similar experiences of accidentally seeing large sums in people’s bank accounts.

One user recounted how he once saw more than ₦265 million in another person’s account while making a transfer at a shopping mall.

Another said he was shocked after being asked to enter his account details on someone’s phone and noticing a balance of more than ₦42 million.

A different user claimed he had once seen over ₦80 million in the account of a man who visited a shop to purchase food, saying the encounter made him realise that he still had a long way to go financially.

However, another commenter urged people to avoid making assumptions based solely on what they see in someone’s bank account or appearance. He noted that the money could belong to a businessman or contractor and might have been reserved for a particular project.

The discussion has since generated widespread reactions, with social media users debating the different ways people accumulate wealth and whether outward appearances accurately reflect a person’s financial status.
