Speaking as a guest on the Dear Ife series hosted by media personality Ifedayo Agoro, the mother of two revealed that choosing to maintain privacy around her relationship is one of the best decisions she has ever made.

The Edo-born actress noted that this choice has kept her grounded and allowed her to remain focused, free from external pressures and unsolicited opinions that could interfere in her marriage.

She emphasized that the low profile has allowed her husband to live without the burden of public scrutiny or expectations.

Kadiri clarified that she isn’t hiding her husband but simply respecting his preference for a private lifestyle. She said those in her inner circle are well acquainted with him.

“Keeping my marriage private has been the best decision I’ve made. It helps me stay grounded and gives me control over how I relate with my partner without external interference. There’s no pressure on him from the public because people don’t know him,” she said.

She also highlighted the often-ignored pressure celebrities face in their marriages and expressed gratitude for being able to protect that part of her life.

“My husband isn’t a secret. People close to me know him. We attend church together, go to events—he even shows up at the ones I host. He just doesn’t like the spotlight. His social media is all about the word of God, not personal pictures. He’s simply a private person.”
