I Spent 15 Months In Kirikiri Prison – Man Reveals Shocking Story After Guest’s Mysterious D**th

A Nigerian man has recounted how he spent 15 months in Kirikiri prison after a man he had accommodated died inside his residence under unusual circumstances.

The man shared his experience in a video posted on TikTok, explaining that he had allowed the deceased to stay with him because he considered him a close person and did not know his parents or immediate family.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the man said he was left shocked after the guest reportedly ended up inside a GT water tank at his residence, leading to a series of events that eventually resulted in his imprisonment.

“I was sentenced to Kirikiri prison for a year and a half because I accommodated someone and he died in my house. I don’t know what came into him that landed him inside a GT tank. I don’t know his father and mother. I only helped him because he’s my person,” he said.

He further explained that the deceased’s relatives travelled from Ibadan following the incident and allegedly appealed to the police not to release him.

According to his account, the circumstances surrounding the death led to his detention and eventual imprisonment, despite his claim that he had only offered the deceased accommodation as an act of kindness.

The man expressed gratitude to God for helping him eventually overcome the ordeal, recalling the difficult period he spent behind bars.

“Thank God we were able to find him inside. The family travelled down from Ibadan and told the policemen not to free me. But I’m grateful God came through for me,” he added.

His account has generated reactions on social media, with users expressing surprise over the unusual circumstances surrounding the guest’s death and the legal consequences faced by the man who accommodated him.

The circumstances described in the account have not been independently verified, and details about the police investigation, court proceedings and the exact cause of the deceased’s death were not provided.
