“I Will Depart After Enjoying A Satisfying Meal Of Pounded Yam,” Pastor Adeboye Reveals the Foretold Date Of His Transition From Earth

In a revelation that blends the sacred and the mundane, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the esteemed General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has prophesied a unique departure from this earthly realm—one that involves a Sunday and a delightful feast of pounded yam.
This extraordinary disclosure unfolded on Day 3 of the RCCG Holy Ghost Congress at the Redemption Camp in Ogun State, according to a report by The PUNCH.
Pastor Adeboye, known for his insightful sermons and spiritual leadership, shared a glimpse into his personal journey towards the heavenly abode. In a moment of candor, he stated, “I know somebody will say if we are never sick, how are we going to die and go to heaven? You don’t need to be sick to go to heaven.”
He went on to recount a poignant anecdote about an uncle who, after a day of thanksgiving and merriment, departed this world without warning. The pastor vividly narrated, “An uncle of mine woke up on a Thanksgiving Sunday, went to church, danced like everybody else, came home and his wife gave him a light breakfast before preparing the original food which was pounded yam.”
The tale took an unexpected turn when the uncle, after a simple act of excusing himself to use the restroom, departed this world peacefully. “After she finished pounding, she knocked at the door of the toilet; when they opened the door, my uncle was gone; no sickness, no ache, no pain.”
Pastor Adeboye then humorously declared his own prophetic destiny, saying, “If the Lord tarries His coming, I will go on a Sunday after a good meal of pounded yam.”
