According to Bush Radio Academy, the President described Oluremi as his “truest friend and confidante” while reflecting on the role she has played in his personal, family and public life. The message was issued to mark her 66th birthday on September 21, 2026.

Addressing her affectionately, Tinubu said he would choose the same path that eventually led him to her if he had the opportunity to live his life again. He praised her for standing by him through difficult periods and for providing counsel and companionship throughout their journey together.

The President also referenced the Book of Proverbs while describing the qualities he associates with his wife, noting that its teachings on the value of a virtuous woman resonated with her character.

Beyond their relationship, the President highlighted his wife’s role in their family, saying their children and grandchildren had grown under the influence of her prayers, faith and values of kindness.

Tinubu said his wife’s compassion extended beyond ethnic, regional and religious boundaries, noting that she had supported people regardless of their background.

Reflecting on their years together, the President recalled the difficult decisions they had faced, the sacrifices they had made and the moments of laughter and prayer that had helped them through challenging periods.

He concluded the message by expressing gratitude for the life and love they had built together and prayed that God would grant Oluremi many more years in good health and happiness.
