“Since my inaugural statement on Monday at the handover ceremony, I have received numerous inquiries about my reference to the revival of the National Carrier Project,” Kana said. “For clarity, I never stated that there is a mandate to revive the failed Nigeria Air deal with Ethiopian Airlines. I was only referencing the administration’s broader vision to consider a National Carrier Project if it aligns with the country’s best interests and under the directives of Mr. President and the Honourable Minister of Aviation.”
