I’m Too Young For This Crisis – Nigerian Man Recalls Losing Baby, Jobs And Nearly Wife

Published

A Nigerian man identified as II Moses has opened up about one of the most difficult periods of his life, recalling how he and his wife lost their jobs, lost their baby and nearly lost his wife within the space of one week.

Moses shared the emotional experience on Facebook while encouraging people currently facing difficult circumstances not to lose hope.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Moses described 2024 as an exceptionally painful year for his family, saying several devastating events occurred within just a few days.

“We lost our job, our baby, and my wife almost died, all within the space of one week,” he wrote, describing the period by saying, “2024 no do us well.”

He recalled looking towards the sky during the crisis and questioning God about why he was experiencing such overwhelming difficulties at a relatively young age.

“That day, I looked up to the sky and said, ‘Lord, please, I am too young for this crisis,’” he recounted.

Moses further revealed that he struggled deeply after being informed that his baby had died. He said he left the hospital and expressed his anger and pain directly to God, particularly because he feared that he could also lose his wife.

“When I was told that our baby had died, I went out of the hospital and confronted God,” he stated.

He explained that the experience became so overwhelming that he temporarily stopped praying in the conventional way and instead began expressing his emotions directly to God.

“I literally stopped praying and started telling God exactly how I felt,” Moses said, adding that he believed others may have experienced similar moments when life became too difficult to process.

Reflecting on the experience, he said difficult seasons can catch people off guard and become overwhelming if they are not handled carefully.

“Sometimes, life can catch us off guard, and if we are not careful, the trouble can consume us,” he stated.

Moses noted that happiness does not mean a person will never experience hardship, stressing that everyone can encounter periods when circumstances appear to go wrong and they struggle to find the right words to express themselves.

“There will be days when everything will seem to be going wrong. There will be days when you will not even know what to say to God,” he wrote.

Despite his experience, Moses encouraged people going through difficult times to continue praying, even when they do not know exactly what to say.

“But when those seasons come, pray. Even when you don’t have the right words, pray,” he advised.

He said he shared his story to encourage people who may currently feel overwhelmed or believe that God has abandoned them, assuring them that difficult seasons would eventually pass.

“I am sharing this to someone going through a lot and thinking God has forsaken them. You will be fine. Las las, we all go dey alright,” he added.

His emotional account has since generated reactions on social media, with many users reflecting on his experience and the message of hope he shared with people facing personal and family challenges.
