“The election is crucial because it will determine the future of Imo State. We are aware of the challenge and we will surmount them. We pledge to deliver on the assignment before us,” Lawal stated.
While stressing that their mission transcends mere electoral victory, Lawal highlighted the council’s focus on making a genuine difference in the lives of the people they serve.
“Our aim is to bring genuine change to the lives of people we serve, not just to win the election,” he affirmed.
Lawal urged the campaign team to uphold transparency and adhere to PDP’s ideals while executing the campaign. He emphasized that the campaign’s core objectives encompass security, education, healthcare infrastructure, job creation, and other essential areas.
Expressing confidence in the council’s ability to secure a victory for the PDP in Imo State, Lawal rallied the team to unite and strategize effectively for the benefit of their candidate and party.
Senator Samuel Anyanwu, the PDP’s Imo State candidate and national secretary of the party, echoed Lawal’s sentiments. He asserted that the election’s significance surpasses personal interests, highlighting its importance for the people of Imo State.
