In Gombe, the tribunal confirmed Muhammadu Yahaya’s re-election as the state’s governor. On September 26, 2023, the tribunal dismissed the petitions of the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Jibrin Barde, and the African Democratic Congress and its candidate, Nafiu Bala.

In Calabar, Cross River State, the tribunal’s final judgment dismissed Prof. Sandy Onor’s petition challenging the election victory of Senator Bassey Otu as governor and Peter Odey as deputy governor.

The tribunal upheld Otu’s election, deeming the petitioner’s case filed under Suit Number: EPT/CR/GOV/02/2023 as lacking merit.

In Benue, the state election petition tribunal, on September 23, rejected the petition filed by the PDP candidate, Titus Uba, against the election of Hyacinth Alia of the APC.

The tribunal also clarified that the forgery allegation against the governor was a pre-election dispute that should be addressed before the tribunal.

In Lagos, the governorship election tribunal affirmed Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s victory while dismissing the petitions of Olajide Adediran (also known as Jandor) and Rhodes-Vivour.

In Kano State, the tribunal ruled that the opposition APC candidate, Nasiru Gawuna, was the winner of the March 18th poll.
