In his Independence Day message on Tuesday, he stated, “Today, we celebrate a significant milestone in our nation’s history—64 years of independence. We honor the nationalists who fought tirelessly to end colonial rule. Since 1960, we have made considerable strides and faced numerous challenges on our journey as a nation.
