Yakubu expressed satisfaction with the non-sensitive materials already in place for the election. He described the visit as a routine assessment to evaluate the state’s preparedness, including inspections of local government areas and mock accreditation exercises to test the systems.

“We have visited three local government areas—Oredo, Egor, and Ikpoba/Okha—and observed mock accreditation exercises to ensure the integrity of our systems for voter accreditation and results upload,” Yakubu said. “The preparations in these areas and the technology we are deploying are impressive, and we are confident in our readiness.”
