She assured that all materials had been dispatched to the twenty-seven INEC Local Government Offices, with National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) vehicles ready to transport personnel and materials to polling units.

Emphasizing the comprehensive preparations, Ben-Opara affirmed that NURTW members had been effectively mobilized, and logistical arrangements for the ad hoc staff engaged in the exercise had been settled.

These measures were implemented to ensure the smooth commencement of accreditation and voting as scheduled.

Addressing concerns about the organized Labour protest, the INEC Head of Voter Education clarified that the strike would not impact the polls.

She assured that all necessary preparations had been completed prior to the disagreement between the State Government and the Labour Unions.
