The service chiefs, including the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa; Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt-General Taoreed Lagbaja; Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, and Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, were present earlier, awaiting the President’s arrival from an external function.
The gathering, attended by the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, focused on addressing the escalating issues of terrorism, kidnapping, and widespread violence across the nation. The meeting signifies a crucial effort by the government to strategize and implement measures to tackle the prevailing security challenges facing the country.
