Investigation Leads To Arrests In Abuja Robbery And Murder Of Retired General

Four suspects have been apprehended by Nigeria Police operatives in connection with the tragic death of Brig. Gen. Following the incident, Commissioner of Police Bennett Igweh of the FCT ordered an investigation into the general’s death. According to information obtained from a police report by PUNCH Online, the arrests were made in different locations within the Apo area of FCT by officers from the Utako division.

The suspects have been identified as Ibrahim Rabiu, Nafiu Jamil, Aliyu Abdullahi, and Mohammed Nuhu. The police document states, “At Kabusa and Pigbakasa Apo in FCT, Abuja Utako Div. operatives led by Csp Victor O Godfrey arrested four suspects who robbed and murdered a retired Brigadier General.”

The document further details the suspects’ identities and residences, along with the recovery of the knife allegedly used in the crime. Efforts to reach FCT Police Public Relations Officer Josephine Adeh for comment were unsuccessful at the time of reporting.
