“It is what it is” is a commonly used phrase that conveys the idea that a situation or circumstance simply exists as it is and cannot be changed or altered.
The phrase implies that there’s no need to overanalyze or try to change the situation because, ultimately, it cannot be different from what it currently is. It’s a way of acknowledging reality without attempting to sugarcoat or alter it...CONTINUE READING.
Recent reports confirm that Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to hold discussions with U.S. President Joe Biden during the upcoming United Nations General Assembly in New York.
In response to this news, some sectors of the public, notably those aligned with the opposition, have opted to remain silent. This silence is not due to a lack of information but rather stems from an aversion to accepting the truth.
It’s disheartening to observe that a significant number of individuals who identify as “Obidients” are entrenched in a state of self-deception, incapable of recognizing the actuality of the situation.
These individuals fail to grasp the underlying message of the phrase “It is what it is.” Instead, they allow their perceptions to be clouded by their own narratives, refusing to acknowledge objective reality. This inability to see beyond their own fabricated beliefs is indeed regrettable.
Even now, they persist in debating Bola Tinubu’s educational credentials obtained from Chicago State University, despite the institution’s public clarification that Tinubu was indeed their student. It appears they are unaware that Tinubu ascended to the highest echelons of his career in the United States, playing a pivotal role in prominent companies such as Mobil and other esteemed American blue-chip enterprises.
What eludes them is the understanding that Tinubu’s remarkable success in America was facilitated by his essential qualifications and certifications.(undisputed fact)
For instance, they continuously assert that America opposed his bid for the presidency. However, their annoyance became evident when a high-powered U.S. delegation was present at his inauguration.
The reality is that the “Obidients” introduced a novel element into Nigeria’s electoral landscape. It became increasingly evident that they possessed the ability to misguide and manipulate a significant portion of their followers using groundless falsehoods. A closer examination of these untruths reveals a distinct lack of rationality among the same individuals, all based on a foundation of complete fabrication.
Presently, their narrative suggests that Nyesom Wike’s appointment as FCT minister is directly linked to an impending rerun election that they consider inevitable, as if they wield the authority to issue judgments. They extrapolate the legal proceedings to align with their own perspective, molding the judicial process to fit their preconceived notions. They go so far as to assert that Tinubu is a mere tenant at Aso Rock, implying his diminished influence.
Curiously, amidst these claims, they propagated unfounded falsehoods about Fashola manipulating the judges – the very judges they contend have already decided on the necessity of a rerun election.
Yet, paradoxically, they are now fervently proclaiming “All Eyes On The Judiciary,” as if the Judiciary is in custody of their priceless Kidneys.
Persistently, they persist in propagating falsehoods and presenting claims lacking any substantiation. Remarkably, within the same breath, they advocate for Nigeria’s salvation. This incongruity prompts one to question the true beneficiaries of this salvation.
Is it these individuals who are entrenched in a pattern of perpetual deceit and oblivious to the truth, or is it a nation that is actively journeying towards rediscovery? They talk about Tinubu’s purported stolen mandate and the international community’s lack of acknowledgment. However, it’s noteworthy that Tinubu is the only African leader who will meet with Joe Biden on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The fact that adults can lead lives immersed in fantasy and delusion is truly disheartening. The opposition’s whining has reached the point where it is time to move on.
‘It Is what it Is’- Tinubu Fought A Worthy Battle And Emerged Victorious, Now The Opposition Must Accept It.
