Speaking during an interview on Channels TV on Friday, Ndume highlighted various issues that could negatively influence Tinubu’s political prospects. He pointed to both global and domestic factors that pose significant challenges.

“Both circumstantially and evidently, there are reasons to be concerned. The global economic downturn has contributed to rising inflation and the weakening of the naira,” Ndume noted.

According to Ndume, Nigeria’s current economic struggles may diminish public support for President Tinubu’s re-election campaign.

He also raised concerns about internal issues within the presidency, especially its struggle to unify and effectively engage with political stakeholders.
