It’s Official! INEC Validates ADC Leadership, Bolaji Abdullahi Reacts

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially recognized David Mark as the new National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as the National Secretary.

This confirmation follows weeks of controversy over the party’s leadership after the resignation of Ralph Nwosu.

On Wednesday, ADC’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, announced the development via his handle, sharing a link to INEC’s official data page and declaring: “Game on!”

According to the INEC list, the newly recognized executives include David Mark (National Chairman), Rauf Aregbesola (National Secretary), Ibrahim Ahmad (National Treasurer), Akibu Dalhatu (National Financial Secretary), and Professor Oserheimen Osunbor (National Legal Adviser).

Meanwhile, former lawmaker Dino Melaye has asserted that the ADC-led opposition coalition is fully prepared to unseat President Bola Tinubu. Speaking on Arise Television’s Prime Time on Monday, Melaye warned that the 2027 general election will not be “a tea party.”

He accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of misgovernance and argued that while the ruling party “came, saw and conquered” in previous contests, 2027 will be different. According to him, Nigerians are now more determined than ever to defend their votes and push the APC out of power.
