Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has spoken about his views on Nigeria’s political system, revealing that he has never participated in any election in the country....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The music star made the disclosure during a recent appearance on the Off The Record podcast, where he expressed frustration over the state of the nation and said he no longer believes meaningful change will come easily.

According to him, years of hoping for improvement without seeing real progress have made him lose faith in the country’s direction.

He explained that several expectations he once had about Nigeria’s development have not been met, which led him to emotionally distance himself from the system.

Blaqbonez also said he believes the country’s leadership challenges reflect the attitudes and mindset of its citizens.

He added that he does not see a clear difference between political parties, insisting that the same issues persist regardless of who is in power.

In his words: “I haven’t voted before. I kind of feel like I clocked out of Nigeria. Too many things I hoped would happen haven’t happened, and I just feel this country is bound to be like this. I feel like our leaders are a reflection of us. I don’t see any difference regardless of the party.

“There are so many branches of a tree if the root is rotten. So I don’t know if I believe in the vision of Nigeria. I feel like something drastic has to happen before I can believe again.

“The change we need, especially in African countries, must come from this generation. But why can’t we ever get a young candidate?
