JAMB Drops Bombshell: Full List Of 20 Institutions Caught In Massive Admission Fraud
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has identified 9,469 unauthorized admissions carried out by 20 tertiary institutions across Nigeria during the 2024 academic session.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
According to the board, these admissions bypassed the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS)—JAMB’s official platform designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and merit-based admission processes in the nation’s higher institutions.
CAPS enables candidates to track their admission status and helps curb manipulation or backdoor admissions by institutions.
Among the institutions flagged, Kano State University of Science and Technology recorded the highest number of infractions with 2,215 illegal entries, followed by Ladoke Akintola University of Technology with 1,215, Gombe State University with 1,164, and Emmanuel Alayande University of Education with 761.

JAMB emphasized once again that any admission not processed through CAPS is illegal, warning that candidates who accept such admissions may be barred from participating in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
