JAMB Sh*cks Nation: Two CBT Centres Suspended For Major Registration Violations

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has suspended two Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres for violating registration procedures.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The affected centres are Federal College of Education (Technical) Potiskum CBT Centre 2 in Yobe State and Otukpo CBT Centre in Benue State.

This suspension comes after serious breaches of procedural guidelines that could undermine the integrity and security of the registration process.

According to JAMB, candidates are required to manually fill out their details before uploading them to the registration portal. A completed registration template must also be submitted to verify the provided information.

However, some centres, despite being fully informed about these regulations, violated the rules by uploading blank registration templates in an effort to process a higher volume of registrations.

JAMB has voiced its concerns over this deliberate disregard for the rules and issued a stern warning that any centre found guilty of such malpractice in the future will face a permanent ban from conducting JAMB-related activities.

The 2025 UTME registration, which commenced on Monday, February 3, 2025, will continue until March 8, 2025. JAMB has urged all CBT centres to adhere strictly to the registration guidelines to ensure the process remains accurate and credible.
