Jarvis Blows Hot, Threatens To Sue Peller Over Marriage Dispute

Nigerian social media personality Jarvis has threatened to take legal action against her husband, Peller, following an alleged disagreement over his reported plan to marry another woman.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Jarvis made the remarks in a video shared on her Snapchat page, where she questioned why the issue of a second wife had surfaced only a few months into their marriage.

In the video, Jarvis alleged that Peller had told her before their marriage that, as a Muslim, any woman he intended to marry as a second wife would also have to be Muslim. She, however, claimed that his current position was different from what he had previously communicated to her.

Expressing her displeasure, Jarvis said their marriage was not yet four months old and questioned why Peller was already discussing plans to take another wife.

She insisted that the alleged change in position was contrary to the understanding she had before agreeing to marry him and warned that she would seek legal redress if the matter continued.

“I will sue Peller. He’s telling me he’s a Muslim and that he will marry a Muslim girl. Our marriage is not even up to four months, and he’s already threatening to get a second wife. This is not what you told me before I agreed to marry you,” she said.

Jarvis further maintained that Peller had previously made a different promise regarding their marriage and expressed frustration over what she described as a sudden change in his position.

She also referenced their religious backgrounds during the heated exchange and reiterated her threat to pursue the matter legally, warning Peller about possible consequences if she followed through with the lawsuit.

The dispute has since drawn attention online, with social media users reacting to the couple’s public disagreement over the issue of polygamy and expectations within their marriage.
