Prior to the women’s rally in Lagos, a post had circulated online listing both actresses as a member of the women’s wing of Tinubu’s presidential campaign council.

Actress Joke Silva has been urged by controversial ex-presidential aide and prominent media figure Reno Omokri to ignore those who are questioning her support for Bola Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate.

It sparked reactions from many social media users online when Joke Silva and another Nollywood actress, Folake Daramola, were spotted on Monday attending the APC’s women rally in support of Bola Tinubu in Lagos.

An online post that listed both actresses as members of Tinubu’s presidential campaign council’s women’s wing went viral before the women’s rally in Lagos.

He stated:

WE LOVE YOU @JOKESILVA. NEVER MIND THESE PEOPLE. THOSE THAT COMMEND YOU ARE MORE THAN THOSE THAT CONDEMN YOU. YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO SUPPORT TINUBU, AND THOUGH I SUPPORT ATIKU, I CAN STILL SAY THAT YOU AND OLU JACOBS ARE A CREDIT TO NIGERIA. IGNORE THEM AND BLOOM!
