In the video, some individuals collecting the fuel confronted another person recording the scene from a moving vehicle, warning them about the risks involved.

This incident occurred just days after a tanker explosion in Jigawa State resulted in the tragic loss of nearly 200 lives, with many others injured. According to Naija News, Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi reported that 181 people died and 210 families were affected by the explosion, which happened while residents were trying to scoop fuel from an overturned tanker.

The governor briefed President Bola Tinubu on the situation during a meeting at the State House in Abuja, revealing that 80 people were hospitalized as a result of the explosion, and the state government has covered their medical expenses. The explosion took place in Majiya town along the Kano-Hadejia expressway in Taura LGA of Jigawa State.
