President Bola Tinubu’s approval of a supplementary budget for 236 road projects designed for palliative intervention was also disclosed by Umahi. The minister expressed confidence in the newly appointed board members and assured the public of a transformative shift in road conditions within the next two years.
Congratulating the selected board members, Umahi conveyed optimism about the positive changes that would unfold under their leadership. Chukwuemeka Agbasi, the Managing Director/CEO of FERMA, shared his vision for visible improvements in road conditions, a reduction in operating costs, and enhanced socio-economic conditions for road users throughout his four-year tenure.
