The incident, which was captured on video and widely circulated on social media, sparked intense reactions from fans after showing a physical confrontation between the two entertainers.
Following the clash, DJ Tunez and his associate Wizkid both claimed in separate online posts that Burna Boy had been backed by a group of men during the encounter.
DJ Tunez alleged that Burna Boy struck him from behind, describing the act as unfair and unprovoked. He further insisted that he stood his ground despite being outnumbered.
In response, Burna Boy addressed the incident during a livestream with fellow artist Shallipopi on Wednesday night, firmly rejecting the claims.
He stated that he acted alone and denied any involvement of others in the confrontation. He also admitted to slapping DJ Tunez twice, while insisting that the situation was being exaggerated.
