The Fuji maestro, whose birthday falls on March 3rd, 2024, has opted out of the usual festivities due to the prevailing economic challenges in the nation.
In a recent statement shared on his Instagram, Kwam1 clarified that “given the current state of affairs in our country Nigeria, there isn’t much cause for celebration at this moment.”
Instead, he urged his “loved ones, rather than coming to revel, dine, and imbibe, to use this upcoming birthday of mine as an opportunity to assist someone in need closer to you.”
It’s worth noting that Kwam1 recently urged President Bola Tinubu to urgently address the escalating economic difficulties in the country during a performance at an event. He emphasized the need for swift actions to prevent Nigeria from descending into economic chaos.
