In a statement issued through his Press Secretary, Abubakar Balarabe Kofar Naisa, Bayero expressed sympathy for those negatively impacted by the protests in the state. He encouraged the public to turn to God for solace during these challenging times.
Bayero urged citizens to maintain peace, avoid violence, and refrain from damaging public and private property. He also called on parents to ensure proper upbringing of their children, citing the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on the responsibility each person has towards their entrusted duties.
He concluded with prayers for the souls of those who lost their lives, the swift recovery of the injured, and the restoration of losses caused by the protests.
