A journalist affiliated with Abubakar Rimi Television station (ARTV), Naziru Idris Ya’u, was inadvertently hit by a stray bullet while stationed at the Kano State Government House.
Sources indicate that the incident occurred shortly after his return from accompanying Governor Abba Yusuf on an assignment, around 8:30 p.m. on Friday.The bullet inflicted a minor injury to the journalist’s shoulder, prompting swift medical attention at the Government House Clinic, where he was promptly treated and discharged.
