In a tribute issued by his Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, Ganduje praised Na’Abba as a dedicated politician and legislator who had the best interests of the country at heart. The Governor also highlighted Na’Abba’s significant role in promoting the independence of the legislative arm of government during his tenure as the 8th Speaker of the House of Representatives, even in the face of challenges from the executive arm.

Ganduje acknowledged Na’Abba’s unwavering commitment and resilience, particularly in the face of potential impeachment risks, and credited him with contributing to the achievements of the National Assembly. Expressing his sorrow, Ganduje prayed to Allah to grant Na’Abba Aljana Firdaus and provide strength and solace to his entire family, the people of Kano State, and all Nigerians as they cope with the loss.
