Kidnapping Of Anglican Priest Raises Concerns In AnambraAn Anglican priest, Ven David Arinze Ajaefobi, identified as the Archdeacon of Oyi Central Archdeaconry and Vicar of St. James’ Parish in Awkuzu, has reportedly been kidnapped.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Sources told DAILY POST that the abduction occurred on Saturday night. According to an eyewitness, “The incident took place around 9:00 PM on October 26, 2024, at the entrance of St. James’ Parish in Awkuzu, Oyi Local Government Area, Anambra State.”
As of now, there has been no communication from the kidnappers regarding ransom or the motive behind the abduction. In response, the church has organized prayer sessions for his safe return.
When contacted for confirmation, Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer SP Tochukwu Ikenga stated that the police had not yet received any reports regarding the incident.
