Political commentator Deji Adeyanju expressed strong disapproval in a recent series of tweets concerning a controversial video featuring Governor Ododo of Kogi state. The video, widely circulated in the media, reportedly shows Governor Ododo instructing residents to prioritize and follow the orders given by the former Governor, Yahaya Bello, over his own directives. In the video, Governor Ododo allegedly stated, “If I give you an order, and the former Governor, Yahaya Bello gives you an order, please ignore my own order and obey the former Governor’s order.” While the authenticity of this report is yet to be confirmed by Bushradiogist, it has sparked criticism from Nigerians.
Taking to his X handle, Adeyanju expressed his dismay, declaring, “Kogi is in the hands of illiterates, thieves, and clowns, but the people deserve the kind of government they get.”
He continued his critique in another tweet addressing the viral video, stating, “Kogi people are very happy with their leaders. If they are not, they will all be on the streets resisting and protesting. For 8 years while Yahaya Bello raped the state, not for once did they complain. We are all just crying more than the bereaved.”
